Got My Eyes On You #1
1. Coat, H&M 2. Chain, Topshop 3. Skirt, H&M 4. Shoes, ASOS 5. Soleil Tan De Chanel, Chanel 6. Shoes, River Island
A few things I have my eyes on at the moment. This leopard print coat is a fun way to dress up any bland outfit. The studded courts are a blatant rip off of the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spikes *swoon*, at a much cheaper price. £670 to be precise.
I may or may not have already ordered the nude sandals with the ankle strap...

All White on the Night
...with a splash of pink! More birthday celebrations = an excuse to get dressed up :-) Please excuse the hair across my face, it decided to get especially windy at the precise moment I wanted my pictures taken. Typical, ey!
Introducing Alexa... I have been dreaming of an Alexa since I could walk (okay maybe not thaaat long) and now I finally have one! I've been waiting a few seasons for the perfect colour, as I didn't want the typical tan, and as soon as I saw this blush pink, I knew it was meant to be. I especially love the rose gold metal details. It's my perfect summer bag, and it takes pride of place on my arm :-)

Friday was the day of my birth, so naturally I went out to celebrate with my nearest and dearest. I went for dinner at a lovely Thai restaurant, my cuisine of choice, and then onto a bar. As it was my birthday, I decided to go all out on the sparkles. Who doesn't want to be shiny on their birthday?!

Sheer Bliss
| Dress - Forever 21 Jacket - H&M Wedges - Steve Madden Necklace - Topshop Sunglasses - Topshop |
I picked up this maxi dress from Forever 21 when I was in Las Vegas. At first glance I thought it was a plain t-shirt dress, but on closer examination I saw that it in fact had a sheer skirt. I love anything sheer, it's very sexy in a less is more kinda way. It's uber comfortable and as it's plain black, I can style it differently every time I wear it. The weather has been a bit hit and miss lately, so I wore this monochrome tweed cropped jacket over the top.
What do you think of maxi dresses?

Crazy for Coral
If I had to choose one colour to sum up summer days for me, it would be coral. I love the way it works against my skin tone, whether it's on my lips or my nails, or like these wide legged trousers. I picked them up in a H&M sale last year for a bargain £7. Palazzo pants are a great alternative to wear in the summer when you don't feel like baring all. They feel really free and floaty and I find them incredibly comfortable. This pair is a great length; long enough to wear with heels, but they also work with flat sandals without dragging on the floor.
I wore this outfit out to dinner for my sister's birthday. We've been having some fantastic weather lately, so I thought it was time to pull out some coral! I like the sequinned sleeves on this otherwise plain t shirt. They add a bit of jazz to a simple outfit.

That Shit Cray
There is no rest for the wicked! On Sunday night I was off to the O2 to see two of hip hop's finest, Jay Z and Kanye West perform. Now I've been to my fair share of concerts, but this was really something else. The atmosphere of a live concert is something you can only truly understand through experience, and this was no disappointment. Our seats were perfect, the crowd was hyped, and the buzz was contagious. Not only did the duo sing songs, off their recent collaboration album Watch The Throne, they each sang some of their solo material, with Jay Z digging deep into his archive. And to go out in true diva style, they sang Paris SIX TIMES! I was in my element!
But that wasn't the best bit! Out of the 5 nights that they are performing at the O2, I was lucky enough to be there the night Rihanna made a surprise appearance! She sang two songs with her mentors, and I was so excited I almost peed my pants! Ok not really, but all that screaming and shouting has left me with a very sore throat that feels rather like sandpaper...ouch.
I wanted to wear something comfy but dressy, and I ended up wearing a dipped hem skirt with a loose fitting knitted tee. I don't really like to wear all black everything (see what I did there ;-)) so I mixed it up a bit with my belt and shoes. Not forgetting my new sparkly clutch bag! It reminds me of the Zara one from last year, that I always wanted but never bought, only it was about half the price. It's the perfect shape and size for all my bits and bobs, and hellooo, it's sparkly!
Did anyone else Watch the Throne? What did you think of it?
