Apocalips Lip Laquer is the latest lip offering from Rimmel. A cross between a lipstick and a lip gloss, Apocalips comes in a range of 8 colours that include something for everyone, with a mix of nudes and brights.
The colour that stood out particularly for me was Stellar. A vivacious coral, it's deeply pigmented like a lipstick, with the smooth texture of a lip gloss. Easy to apply with the doe-foot applicator, it surprisingly feels incredibly creamy and light on the lips, without the stickiness you would usually expect from a gloss. It dries to an almost matte finish, with a slight sheen, and is pretty long lasting. One coat gave me an opaque and even finish. My only qualm is that it started to bleed after some wear, but it was nothing a little liner couldn't fix.
For £5.99, you can't really go wrong!
